This course covers a wide range of emergency first aid training, including:
- Roles and responsibilities of an emergency first aider
- Assessing an incident safely and effectively
- Managing an unresponsive casualty
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Recovery position
- Choking
- Seizures
- Shock
- Wounds and bleeding
- Minor injuries, including: Cuts, grazes, bruises, minor burns and scalds.
