The MSP® Foundation and Practitioner certifications provide a comprehensive understanding of the Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) framework.
The Foundation level introduces the core principles, governance themes, and transformational flow required to manage programmes effectively. It focuses on building a strong foundation in managing multiple projects that align with organisational objectives.
The Practitioner level takes this knowledge further by teaching you how to apply the MSP framework to real-world scenarios. It focuses on managing complex programmes, aligning them with strategic goals, and delivering long-term benefits. This certification is ideal for programme managers, project managers, and professionals responsible for leading large-scale change initiatives and ensuring successful outcomes.
Engage in 5 days of virtual learning, where you will cover both the Foundation & Practitioner level, delivered via Adobe Connect. The first 3 days of learning will focus on the Foundation qualification and the last 2 will focus on the Practitioner.

- The MSP Practitioner qualification is designed for programme managers, project managers, business change managers, and operational staff working in a programme environment. It also includes key personnel involved in the design, development, and delivery of programmes, such as Programme Board members, programme assurance, management office staff, portfolio management staff, and other specialist programme personnel.
- Ideal for you if you prefer the flexibility of learning from your own space – with constant guidance from expert facilitators.

Assessment
Assessment
- The Foundation exam will be sat on the afternoon of the 3rd day and the Practitioner exam will be sat on the afternoon of the 5th day.
- Please note: You can take the Practitioner training and cancel your booked exam (up to 48 hours before) to retake the Foundation if desired. If not, you may proceed with the Practitioner exam, but the result will be withheld until the Foundation is passed.
