Engineering Supervisor Initial

This initial training course is designed for those preparing to take on the responsibility of Engineering Supervisor (ES). It provides the core competence required to safely and effectively manage a worksite within a possession, including establishing and giving up the site, and authorizing all train movements, ensuring compliance across the Network Rail Infrastructure.

- Aged 18+

- Meet the medical requirements of and Drugs & Alcohol screening.

- Must bring Sentinel smart card with valid PTS & AC, full COSS or IWA (not in probationary status).

- Must Bring physical or virtual Sentinel card

This course is for delegates who have been nominated by their line manager/sponsor to enable them to attain the Engineering Supervisor (ES) Competence.

  • Worksite Overruns 
  • Suspended Worksite and Handback 
  • Assessments 

Assessment

  • Practical Assessment

The training will be logged as an event on sentinel at the end of the course.
