70-90% funded

Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and fast-track to an interview with an employer. Skills Bootcamps are funded by the Department for Education and developed locally by specified councils or authorities, working closely with local employers.

The Skills Bootcamp in Applied Project Management is free to learners and 70-90% funded for employers (up to 70% for large organisations and 90% for SMEs). This means learners can upskill free of charge, whilst employers can fill vital skills gaps within their workforce for a fraction of the price.

We are currently offering Skills Bootcamps for Project Management Training in partnership with 2020 Project Management and Solent Growth Partnership. The funding is available to those  who live or are employed in the Isle of Wight, Portsmouth & Southampton

Entry Requirements

Learners must meet the following criteria

  • Must be aged 19+ and must have turned 19 before 31st August 2024
  • Must have lived in the UK for 3 years
  • Must who live or are employed within the Portsmouth, Isle of Wight & Southampton area
  • Must be employed (as it is a co-funded Skills Bootcamp)

Solent Growth Partnership has successfully secured funding from the Department for Education (DfE) to support the running of Skills Bootcamps in the Solent region. This funding will boost the Solent’s workforce, ensuring employers have access to new talent, and individuals acquire the skills to get the type of jobs that they aspire to.
