Skills Bootcamps
Our Skills Bootcamps for Construction Design & Build Technician Training are available as a BSI training partner offered under the Oxford local authority (you must live and work in this area to access funding) and offer 70-90% funding.
BSI aims to give organisations of all sizes the confidence to explore, grow, and prepare for the challenges ahead. They form strong collaborations and partnerships with experts, businesses, governments, and non-governmental organisations to deliver a positive impact.
They work closely with us to deliver the Skills Bootcamps initiative as a way to attract fresh talent to the construction sector at a regional level, addressing skills shortages and providing new employment opportunities. Collaborating with City & Guilds Training helps to broaden the availability of training in key regions and is part of our commitment to a truly inclusive approach to training across the sector.

Skills Bootcamps for the Workplace provide flexible hands-on courses of up to 16 weeks in duration, which are part of the government’s commitment for individuals to have access to Skills for Life.
Skills Bootcamps aim to help participants to find jobs in a range of growing sectors across specific regions in England and help employers, and self-employed learners, to close skills gaps in these specified areas. The programme is funded by the Department for Education and developed locally by specified councils or authorities, working closely with local employers.

Large Employer – £1,200.00 per person

Our electrical training facilities at Mitre Court and Explorer 2 are just 2 minutes south of Gatwick Airport. They are comfortable, light and airy environments in which students can learn a wide range of practical and theory based skills.
Leeds

Phoenix House has raised the bar for electrical training centres in the UK. It’s situated east of Leeds, just off of the M1 / A1. This makes it easily accessible from Leeds, Sheffield, Hull, York, Harrogate and all over Yorkshire.

Situated in the scenic location of Port Solent, our Portsmouth Training Centre offers lots of bright, light spaces to train in. We also have a state-of-the-art test track to deliver our industry-leading rail training courses such as PTS Practical Event, DCCR, COSS and many more.
