Skills Bootcamps
NASC – National Access & Scaffolding Confederation in partnership with City & Guilds Training are proud to offer a programme of regional Skills Bootcamps for Scaffolding Training, this includes CISRS Part 1 and 2 as well as Advanced Courses.
Our Skills Bootcamps for Scaffolding Training are available in partnership with the NASC (National Access & Scaffolding Confederation) and offer 70-90% funding for CISRS Part 1, 2 and Advanced Courses. The NVQ and Skills Assessments can also be booked separately.
NASC is the national trade body for access and scaffolding in the UK. Established 1945, it now serves over 800 leading contracting firms, scaffolding suppliers, manufacturers and clients, representing 80% of UK scaffolding spend*.
It produces leading safety and technical guidance for scaffolding contractors, operatives and clients accepted as industry standard by HSE, Build UK, NFB, CITB and principal contractors.
NASC strongly supports the Skills Bootcamps initiative as a way to attract fresh talent to the scaffolding and access sector at a regional level, addressing skills shortages and providing new employment opportunities. Collaborating with City & Guilds Training helps to broaden the availability of training in key regions and is part of our commitment to a truly inclusive approach to training across the sector.

Skills Bootcamps for the Workplace provide flexible hands-on courses of up to 16 weeks in duration, which are part of the government’s commitment for individuals to have access to Skills for Life.
Skills Bootcamps aim to help participants to find jobs in a range of growing sectors across specific regions in England and help employers, and self-employed learners, to close skills gaps in these specified areas. The programme is funded by the Department for Education and developed locally by specified councils or authorities, working closely with local employers.
At City & Guilds Training, we are currently offering Scaffolding Skills Bootcamps in partnership with NASC, at the following local regions.
