A-levels in sixth form was never what I was interested in, and I was always preferred hands on and practical work that makes me think. I feel like sitting in a classroom, I'd be uninspired whereas here I feel like I'm active and gaining experience.
It's great being a female working in rail. People will think it's daunting, but it's not because everyone is so friendly. They all treat you like family. Everyone's so keen to help, they really support you.

Highly recommend. Well worth doing if you are looking to start training in the electrical industry. All the staff at the training centre I attended for my course ( Warrington) were brilliant, from the amazing reception staff to all the very patient and experienced instructors.
The course I attended was interesting and delivered at a good speed, the tutor made sure no one got left behind.

My apprenticeship was great. I trained while I worked, got some experience under my belt, and earned a wage at the same time. The best part is the Tutors are happy to support you and will always answer any questions.
